Krakow Technology Park has announced the full programme of Digital Dragons Conference 2025 (18-20 May). The creators of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, World of Warcraft or Fallout: New Vegas, among others, will appear on the stage of the ICE Krakow Congress Centre.
The event programme is already available on the organiser's website. It will feature, along with others, creators from the Czech Warhorse Studios, authors of one of the best games of this year - Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. Adam Sporka (Technical Music Director), Jan Valta (Lead Composer) and Vojtěch Nedvěd (Audio Director) will talk about the secrets of creating audio for the game.
The star of the event will be Ion Hazzikostas (Senior Game Director, Blizzard Entertainment), who has been working on the iconic World of Warcraft since 2008. He will talk about the game's 20 years of development. He will not be the only Blizzard representative - Fernando Forero (Senior UI Artist, Blizzard Entertainment), who worked on Diablo IV, will also enrich the programme.
Fans of Fallout New Vegas, Pillars of Eternity and Icewind Dale will be pleased to see the presence of Josh Sawyer (Studio Game Director, Obsidian Entertainment), who is returning to the event after many years.
There will also be Polish game developers such as Maria Borys-Piątkowska of Flying Wild Hog, scriptwriter of Evil West and Shadow Warrior 3, Adam Skorupa (Music Imaginary), author of soundtracks for The Witcher 1 and 2, Bulletstorm or Diablo Immortal, and Maciej Celmer (CD PROJEKT RED), who worked on Cyberpunk 2077 and Dying Light 2.
Thematic summits at Digital Dragons Conference 2025
In addition to expert lectures, the event will also feature two specialised summits - Legal Summit powered by Rymarz Zdort Maruta and Game Design Summit powered by Anshar Studios & Fool's Theory, both of which will take place at a new location - Q Hotel Plus Krakow.
The first is a must-attend for anyone interested in the legal and business complexities of the video games sector. It is a space where the law meets the realities of a rapidly evolving industry - both in a local and international context. Speakers will include prominent experts from various jurisdictions and gamedev areas, including Jari-Pekka Kaleva (European Game Developers Federation), Gaetano Dimita (Queen Mary University of London), Mariusz Gąsiewski (Google), Magdalena Oracz (Roboto Global), Kuba Jankowski (CD PROJEKT RED), Philip Wildman (GG Incurances Services) and many others. Legal Summit is open to Digital Dragons Conference 2025 attendees with Business or VIP tickets, as well as those who purchase a separate pass.
Game Design Summit is a hands-on workshop on game design, which will be led by, among others, Josh Sawyer (Studio Design Director, Obsidian Entertainment), Fernando Forero (Senior UI Artist, Blizzard Entertainment) and Marta Fijak (Lead Game Designer, Techland), winner of the Special Recognition Award of last year's Digital Dragons Awards. Due to the intimate format, tickets for each workshop are distributed separately.
Attractions at Digital Dragons Conference 2025
Digital Dragons Conference 2025 is, however, not only about specialist lectures and summits, but also about Indie Zone for indie game developers, an award ceremony for the best Polish games of the past year (Digital Dragons Awards), meetings in Business Networking Zone and somewhat less formal side events (Badge Pickup Party, Digital Dragons Party).
Digital Dragons Conference is part of the Krakow Technology Park's offer for the games industry, which also offers support programmes for independent games studios (DD Accelerator) and lectures to support budding developers (DD Academy).
