The potential of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) can now be harnessed to enhance Poland's security, facilitated by ongoing legislative work. A draft regulation by the Council of Ministers, amending the regulation on public aid granted to certain entrepreneurs for new investments, has been included in the Legislative Work List of the Council of Ministers.
The amendment to the regulation is our response to the current economic situation in Poland, influenced by, among other things, the ongoing conflict beyond our eastern border. The new regulations increase the investment attractiveness of regions that have recently struggled to attract new investments. At the same time, we stimulate the development of the defense sector by allowing companies to benefit from tax relief instruments

Adapting Tax Relief to New Economic Conditions
Economic Development and Enhanced National Security
The proposed changes aim to achieve two goals: enhancing national security and stimulating the economic development of Eastern Poland. Until now, entrepreneurs have rarely invested in northeastern Poland. The new regulations will create an additional incentive effect, attracting investments to this region
