30 decisions to grant support, over PLN 1 billion of investment outlay and 500 new jobs are the results of 2020 in the Polish Investment Zone managed by the Kraków Technology Park (KPT).
This year investments by Polish companies predominated, with more than every other of them reinvesting. This means that Polish entrepreneurs were not afraid to opt for development in this difficult time, and recognise the tax relief in the Polish Investment Zone a reasonable and practical tool. We are glad to be able to help them in that.
Wojciech Przybylski, President of the Board of the KPT said.
First of all, we are very glad that we have managed to meet our assumptions: we intended to issue at least 26 support decisions (the plan was drafted before the pandemic). We also wanted to reach the small and medium-sized entrepreneurs and convince them that the Polish Investment Zone was also designed for them. These numbers are proof that we succeeded.
Krystyna Sadowska, Director of the Investor Support Division, commented.
We are closing this year with a dram of optimism and hope that the following one will not be worse.
Wojciech Przybylski concluded.
