Virtual business meetings and indie games celebration - organizers invite you to the first unveiling of Digital Dragons

13th and 14th of May marks a great celebration of independent game developers and an opportunity to talk about games in a business context. Participants of the Business Meet Up will be able to find an answer to a question: how to publish and promote a game, and game enthusiasts will have access to indie game demos and select the best productions as part of the Indie Celebration. Krakow Technology Park has prepared many surprises to make the May edition of Digital Dragons more attractive. See for yourself!

Business Meet Up - a business matchmaking platform... and more

Digital Dragons will feature Business Meet Up - an event promoting virtual networking conducted entirely on the PINE platform. Business meetings can be arranged by developers looking for financing for their projects, as well as by investors, publishers and distributors. To use the platform, all you need to do is register on the event page HERE, then log in HERE to the PINE networking platform.

You can do it now or join anytime until May 14th. It's worth registering earlier and completing your profile on the platform. This will enable other participants to find your company or project. To fully complete the information on your profile you can use the tag system to define your expectations. This will allow you to efficiently filter and review the profiles of all participants and effectively arrange face-to-face meetings. Each meeting can last up to 30 minutes. Arrange your meeting calendar properly and get a chance to develop extensive network of business contacts.

The organizers of the Business Meet Up have also taken care of the exchange of experience by offering participants panel discussions with international industry specialists.The first panel will focus on business scaling and market and industry transformation in the context of a global pandemic. Among the discussants will be Sebastian Wojciechowski - CEO of People Can Fly, Anton Gauffin - CEO of Huuuge Games and Mihai Pohoncu - CEO of Amber Studio. There will also be time and space to talk about the perfect pitch. The participants of the discussion will try to find answers to the questions that every developer asks themselves: What opens doors to the market? What do publishers want to see? Answers to these questions will be sought by Shane Bierwith - Executive Vice President Maximum Games / Modus, Alessandro Bovenzi - Business Developer Manager All in! Games, Guillaume Jamet - VP, Head of Publishing Plug In Digital and Grzegorz Drabik - VP, Head of Portfolio Untold Tales.

Indie Celebration

Apart from the purely business part of the May edition of Digital Dragons, the organizers have prepared a real treat for game developers and players themselves. The indie games competition attracts developers and enthusiasts from all over the world. This year, a record number of 250 games from 50 countries were submitted, out of which over 60 titles were selected for the competition.

The games will be presented on the Steam platform along with access to a demo HERE. The jury will choose the three best developers from among them, while players will be able to choose their own winner in the audience vote HERE. Indie Celebration will culminate with the announcement of the Digital Dragons Best Indie Games and Community Vote results on May 14.

This year, the competition is co-organized by major European conferences: Reboot with its brand - Adria Games Initiative and DevGAMM. Partners of the event are Movie Games and Creepy Jar.
